Please Note: Individual sessions are available for individual purchase.

MAR 7  Film Heroes Then and Now: The Noble, the Intense, the Complex, and the Everyman

Gregory Peck, Kirk Douglas, Robert DeNiro, and Tom Hanks are four of the film stars who received the Kennedy Center Honors. Each actor was a larger-than-life embodiment of characteristics of the American hero of their time. Peck projected integrity, Douglas intensity, DeNiro complexity, and Hanks an everyman at the crossroads. As we changed, so did what we came to define as a hero.

APR 11  Strings of Delights: The Musial Glories of Yo-Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman, and Mstislav Rostropovich

This trio of recipients of the Kennedy Center Honors represents magicians of the strings, stars of the classical world and whatever music they played. On stage and off, they were forces of music who moved and delighted us. As committed citizen-musicians, their impact reached beyond the halls of music.
