Smithsonian Associates reserves the right to take photographs and record video and/or audio during programs for the educational and promotional purposes of the Smithsonian Institution or authorized third parties. By attending a program, participants agree to allow their likeness to be used by Smithsonian Associates or Smithsonian-authorized third parties without compensation to the participant. Individuals who prefer that their voice and/or image not be used must notify Smithsonian Associates in writing prior to the beginning of the program.
The absence of a recording does not entitle registrants to a credit or refund from Smithsonian Associates.
Many—but not all—live-streamed programs are recorded. We understand it's not always possible to watch a program in real time, and as a courtesy to registrants we are glad to make recordings available within 24 hours after the program has taken place. With Associates Encores, the recordings can be viewed for up to three days (72 hours) after they become available.
Smithsonian Summer Adventures sessions are not available for viewing after the program has ended.
