Instructor Barbara Schmidt is a member of the American Orchid Society (AOS) and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, for whom she teaches classes on orchids. Her orchids have won first place at the Philadelphia Flower Show. She is the author of Orchid Care: For the Beginner.
