In this two-session course, visit and photograph the Washington National Cathedral—with architectural features ranging from gargoyles to stunning stained glass windows—then, in the second session, meet on Zoom to review your images. During the critique, learn creative composition techniques and camera angles and how to photograph stained glass windows, take long exposures, and straighten camera perspective for balanced lines. Students photograph both the interior and exterior of the cathedral, and a tripod is required. Admission to the cathedral is included in tuition.
