Materials for this program

It’s getting chillier outside, and there’s no time like the present to learn to knit gloves and mittens for yourself or a loved one. Learn the skills you need to craft a pair to keep the winter’s cold at bay. The instructor covers knitting in the round; increases; using markers, such as holders and counters; and how to knit thumbs and fingers. In class, make a small sample mitten for a child or as a decoration. Basic knitting skills are necessary, including casting on, creating the knit stitch and purl stitch, and binding off.
