Shibori is the Japanese term for a broad array of resist dyeing methods, and similar techniques have been widely practiced in many other cultures under a variety of names. The shibori process adds interest, color, and rich textural markings to any felted object. Create a lightweight, felted ensemble of wrist warmers and a cowl neck scarf as you explore two different, yet complementary, shibori processes. This two-day workshop will leave you en vogue and never cold!
A $45 supply fee, payable to the instructor at the first class, covers the cost of a silk and wool kit and all shared dyeing supplies.
