Explore elements of the styles of artists such as Matisse, Picasso, Bearden, Hoch, and Rauschenberg and then interpret them in your own work. Examine how the masters have used color, pattern, mark making, and other design elements to provoke thought, create energy, establish mood, and evoke emotions. Combine acrylic paint, paper, and other materials to construct artworks on various substrates, including paper, canvas, and mat board.
