Please Note: The program had updated timing (originally 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET).

Take what you know and apply it in a museum as you study and dissect works of art in the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden’s anniversary show, “Revolutions: Art from the Hirshhorn Collection, 1860-1960.” Further examine the fundamental concepts of composition as you analyze and appreciate visual art.

Participants are encouraged to bring a sketchbook and graphite pencil to the museum as tools to observe and contemplate the artworks.

This is a companion class to Composition Studies scheduled on Monday, October 21 and November 4 on Zoom.
