The Man Booker Prize for Fiction is awarded each year for the best new novel written in English and published in the UK. Join Lisbeth Strimple Fuisz, a lecturer in the English department at Georgetown University, in a spirited series of lectures and informal dialogues that explore why four books under discussion merited the Man Booker Prize. This is the second class session.

Sherry and cookies are available for refreshment. Participants should read the listed book prior to class.

The Sea by John Banville

A retired art historian attempts to reconcile himself to the deaths of those whom he loved as a child and as an adult.
