The Philadelphia Flower Show
Wednesday, March 6, 2019 - 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
With its theme of Flower Power, the 2019 edition of the world’s largest indoor flower exhibition (all 10 acres of it) explores how flowers convey emotions that transcend language, culture, and borders. The legendary show is the perfect place for gardeners and flower enthusiasts to spend a day filled with beauty—and with a nod to the 50th anniversary of Woodstock, some groovy floral expressions of peace and love inspired by the 1960s.
A gourmet box lunch is provided en route, and participants purchase their own supper before departure in the evening.
Fringe stop at about 10:10 a.m.
Please note: The visit to the show is self-guided; a Smithsonian representative accompanies the tour.
