This program is recommended for children ages 5-16. 

South African-born Lesole Maine invites you to discover the vibrant dance heritage of his homeland. Experience the energy, customs, and cultures of South Africa as reflected in three distinctive regional dances: indlamu, a traditional Zulu village dance; a gumboot dance slapped out on gold miner’s rubber boots; and the upbeat urban pantsula. And don’t miss the chance to try out some steps!


Please Note:
-EVERYONE must have a ticket to enter; including children under the age of 2 (select ‘Child Under 2’ from above price types).
-Seating is at the discretion of House Management based on theater size and the number of people attending the show. You may be asked to sit in a designated section/area of the theater or auditorium.
-If you do not arrive by your show time, your seats may be released to people on the wait list.
-For groups of 10 children or more (ages 2-16) please call Discovery Theater at 202-633-8700 for a group discount.
