The tour highlights little-known facts as well as historical data about this significant cemetery. Highlights include the marble tomb of Pierre L’Enfant and memorials honoring Confederate soldiers and Teddy Roosevelt’s Rough Riders, as well as the site of the cemetery’s first military burial.

Washington historian and guide Jeanne Fogle leads this historic cemetery tour.

The tour is approximately 2 hours long. It includes extensive walking, some of it uphill. No infants, children, or pets.
