Love mixed media? Expand your repertoire with an array of one-off prints using acrylic paints and other materials. While monoprinting usually requires a press of some type, it is fortunately a medium adaptable to low-tech methods. Utilizing Gelli and other types of plates ranging in size from 5" x 7" to 12" x 14", create prints that can stand alone as pieces of art, or be incorporated into collages or other projects. Workshop participants explore additive and subtractive methods, drawing on the plate, over-printing, and using stamps and other materials to create patterns. All supplies are provided.
