Campers discover the power and possibility within themselves through the exciting process of creating a super-identity. Inspired by the stories of amazing Americans and their role in history, as well as visits to the many museums on the National Mall, campers craft an identity that reflects the “superhero” traits of these historical figures. These super alter egos provide the inspiration for comics, costumes, and other forms of creative adventures as campers complete team challenges and earn badges. Friends and families are invited to celebrate their superheroes during Friday’s badge ceremony.
