New York Times bestselling author Jodi Picoult is known for her compelling storytelling that thoughtfully tackles contemporary issues. For her latest novel, she’s teamed up with acclaimed author Jennifer Finney Boylan to create the suspenseful Mad Honey.

Olivia McAfee never imagined her picture-perfect life in Boston could be upended or that she’d be back in sleepy Adams, New Hampshire, living in the house where she grew up and taking over her father’s beekeeping business. As she settles in with her son Asher, they become involved in the lives of two other newcomers: Lily, a teenage girl who attends the same high school as her son, and her mother. When Lily is found dead and Asher is questioned by the police, Olivia is adamant that her son is innocent. But as the case against him unfolds, she realizes he’s hidden more than he’s shared with her.

Join the authors, in conversation with writer and transgender activist Charlotte Clymer, as they discuss what it was like to work together and their inspiration behind the novel.

Picoult is the author of 28 novels, including Wish You Were Here, The Book of Two Ways, and A Spark of Light. Bolyan, the inaugural Anna Quindlen writer in residence at Barnard College of Columbia University, has produced 18 fiction and nonfiction titles that include I’m Looking Through You, She’s Not There, and Long Black Veil.
