The nation's passion for sports is obvious every day—in NASCAR races, soccer matches, baseball games, and many other competitive arenas. From a handball used by Abraham Lincoln to Chris Evert's tennis racket to a baseball signed by Jackie Robinson, campers find many sports-related stories in Smithsonian museums. They design baseball cards, racetracks, and their own sports-themed mini-museum. The week ends with an “out-of-the-park” presentation for family and friends.
