Arts journalist Richard Selden leads a visit to Baltimore to experience “Ethiopia at the Crossroads” at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore. The special exhibition celebrates the artistic traditions of Ethiopia from their origins to the present day and is the first major art exhibition in America to examine Ethiopian art in a global context. The Walters, which holds one of the most extensive collections of Ethiopian art outside of Ethiopia, features more than 225 objects from its collection in this exhibition, plus items from American, European, and Ethiopian lenders.

After an authentic Ethiopian lunch at Dukem in Baltimore, visit an Ethiopian Orthodox church to explore this ancient culture more deeply and discuss the current state of the Ethiopian American community.
