They explore art history as they examine styles and techniques of portraiture from classical to modern to contemporary. After visits to the Portrait Gallery, Hirshhorn Museum, and the National Gallery, they create portraits in their favorite styles. An exhibition of work welcomes family and friends on Friday—and offers them a chance to sit for the budding portraitists.
