From a 16-million-year-old tree to the amazingly resilient “Resurrection plant,” the boundless greenhouse of plant life on planet Earth tells a unique story of growth, invention, beauty, and survival. Campers explore the diversity of living collections in the Smithsonian and U.S. Botanic Gardens, histories told by plant fossils at the Natural History Museum, and detailed botanical illustrations and plant-inspired sculptures at Smithsonian’s art museums.
