An artwork can capture a moment in time—but what happened just before that moment, and what will happen afterwards? Campers spend the week stretching their imaginations, improvising, and creatively interpreting artworks on display in museums around the National Mall. By visiting the U.S. Botanic Garden, they explore how color appears and intermingles in nature and see how art can be more than just a painting. The week culminates in an exhibit of artworks and an epic self-painting-canvas experiment.
