Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
8/02, 8/03, 8/04, 8/05, and 8/06 (5 sessions total)

Artists come together to explore the science, art, history, and diversity of all colors on the visible—and invisible—spectrum across the Smithsonian. Inspired by camouflage and color-changing creatures of the animal world at the Natural History Museum and artworks featured at the Hirshhorn and Cooper Hewitt, adventurers conduct experiments, bend the wavelengths of light itself, and create optical masterpieces.

Multiple Offerings!  This Adventure is also offered at 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM ET.  The same material will be taught in both sessions; please do not register for both.

Registration for this Adventure will close two weeks prior to the first session date.  If you are trying to register after that point, please email us at SummerCamp@si.edu and we will do our best to accommodate your request if space is still available.
