Admission Resize text America is the home of the brave, but what does it mean to be brave? What makes someone a hero? Campers discover that American heroes encompass Native Americans, the Founding Fathers, civil rights activists, and many others who helped to build our nation. They also examine how people showed heroism through acts of non–violent protests and by their powerful words. Campers create their own history books, draw their heroes, and re–enact some memorable moments in history.
