The Kasserine Pass battle marked the first major engagement between U.S. and Axis forces in North Africa. As part of the Tunisian campaign, this battle highlighted the challenges faced by American troops in a large–scale conflict and led to a significant changes to military tactics and organization. Fictional and nonfiction accounts, graphic novels, reference books, and related films and documentaries give campers a grounding in the period’s history.
