Campers hone their storytelling skills in one of the most accessible and dynamic ways we know: comics! Inspired by the digitized collection of classic comic books, zines and other sequential art around the Smithsonian, they discover the importance of comics to our past, present, and future. Campers refine their skills in every step of the process—from writing, to drawing, to even the art of the word balloon—as they self–publish original visual stories for a Friday release.
