Spend a week immersed in art in nature, from nature, and about nature. Campers explore large-scale and temporary earthworks, epic landscape paintings across the Smithsonian’s collections, and nature-inspired forms to inspire their own creations. They use found materials to depict the environment, creating works that examine the intersection between art and nature. Field trips to the Natural History Museum and Smithsonian art museums, as well as explorations and experimentations in garden spaces, link the artist and ecologist in this creative camp.
