This week, campers explore the working of the American justice system, from the Supreme Court all the way down to local courts, while learning the steps of a trial and examining landmark cases in U.S. history. Field trips to the African American History and Culture, American Indian, and the American History museums illuminate these cases. Throughout the week, campers collect evidence and build a case for their very own mock trial, which they present on Friday as a showcase of everything they’ve learned.
