Dave Grohl returned to his native Washington, D.C., as part of an eight-city recording odyssey that produced the forthcoming Foo Fighters album, Sonic Highways. He previews an episode of the upcoming HBO series of the same name that he directed, reflecting his home town’s musical heritage and cultural fabric. Presented in collaboration with Smithsonian Folkways Recordings and the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden.
