A beautifully crafted chain can adorn a handmade pendant or be worn alone as a unique and expressive piece of jewelry. Learn to create three different chain designs using wire-working, forming, and texturing. Wire fusing is also demonstrated and instructions for a complementary clasp are included.
Students have plenty of time to practice each chain design. They leave with a necklace-length piece incorporating all three designs, or a bracelet-length chain in a single design.
Some previous wirework experience such as the Introduction to Beading course or similar workshops is recommended. A wire kit ($60) is available for purchase from the instructor.
