Touch Painting

Studio Arts Workshop

Monday, March 2, 2020 - 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Code: 1K00XE

By Lori VanKirk Schue

This workshop is also available on:

This unique adult finger-painting class provides an opportunity to enjoy the relaxing benefits of creative art-making as you get messy with paint. Students use acrylic paints to produce artwork using their fingers and hands instead of brushes.

Touching and moving the paint releases an inner freedom to command the outcome of your artwork without the constraints of conventional art materials or prescribed approaches to painting. Students use a photo guide for their first project to get comfortable with using this technique. The workshop is perfect for non-artists and artists alike who seek a release of creativity through their fingertips.

Student Supply List: Two or three 9x12 or 11x14 board canvas (not stretched canvas). Acrylic paints (large tubes) in your choices of colors.

Instructor: Lori VanKirk Schue
