Join mosaic artist Bonnie Fitzgerald for an inside look at a variety of mosaic treasures at notable public sites, contemporary spaces, and federal and private buildings that contain unexpected gems.
Tour highlights include the Jefferson Building of the Library of Congress, one of the most beautiful buildings in the world; a glass mosaic installation depicting the history of art in a school’s garden; and a chance to learn about mosaic-making from a local artist. Go behind the scenes at Off the Beaten Track, a warehouse in Northeast filled with artists’ studios and eclectic businesses, for a demonstration of ancient and modern mosaic tools and techniques.
