This program is recommended for children ages 3-7. 

Join wacky citizen-scientist Professor Wingnut and his friend Seymour Seagull as they explore the amazing science of flight! From birds to airplanes, this pair loves all things airborne, and are in pursuit of the secret to just what makes them fly. Songs, science, and a flight-tastic dance party take off right under the planes in the Air and Space Museum. Tour the museum after the show!

Generously underwritten by the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation and presented in partnership with the National Air and Space Museum.  Admission is free, but reservations are required.

SCHOOL GROUPS/DAYCARES - Please call to reserve your tickets; do not reserve tickets online.

INDIVIDUALS - Please make sure you complete your online reservation.  If you do NOT receive an email confirmation, your reservation didn't go through. 


Please Note:
-EVERYONE must have a ticket to enter; including children under the age of 2.
-Seating is at the discretion of House Management based on theater size and the number of people attending the show. You may be asked to sit in a designated section/area of the theater or auditorium.
-If you do not arrive by your show time, your seats may be released to people on the wait list.
-For groups of 10 children or more (ages 2-16) please call Discovery Theater at 202-633-8700 for a group discount.
