This ticket includes VIP Pavilion access from 10 to 11 a.m.

It’s going to be a swinging good time at the Breakfast at the Zoo! Join us as we feature the National Zoo’s primates—gorillas, orangutans, and gibbons—at this much-anticipated annual event.

Smithsonian Associates’ members experience the sights and sounds of the National Zoo before it opens to the public. After enjoying a breakfast buffet, we will be swinging to the music of Hot Club of DC, a gypsy jazz and swing band, on Lion and Tiger Hill. During the event, zoo keepers offer an up-close look into some of the animal houses. Also, a kids’ activity corner allows kids to have a hands-on zoo-related crafting experience.

For Resident Advocates and above: As part of your membership benefits, covered seating, an upgraded breakfast buffet, and other activities will be available in the VIP Pavilion. Space is limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis within three time slots: 8 to 9 a.m.; 9 to 10 a.m.; or 10 to 11 a.m.

Please note: This special event is open only to Smithsonian Associates members, Smithsonian staff, and their guests.
