Robb Hunter, a professional fight director and choreographer, demonstrates how these confrontations—that may contain swords, knives, martial arts, and firearms—are performed on stage or screen in a way that is believable, exciting, and compelling to watch while not actually harming anyone. Hunter is a certified fight director and teacher of stage combat for the Society of American Fight Directors. He has worked on productions for many area companies, including the Shakespeare Theatre Company, Arena Stage, Washington National Opera, Studio Theatre, Olney Theatre, and Ford’s Theatre.
