Art exhibition in Old Town Krakow at St. Mary Magdalene Square

For more than 1,000 years, Poland has stood at the center of central Europe and its historical, cultural, political, and intellectual currents. Christopher Skutela, author and tour guide, leads a journey to find Poland’s architectural, artistic, and historical treasures within its main cities including Krakow, Warsaw, Gdansk, and Wroclaw as well as those found in lesser-known cities and towns like Torun, Lodz, Katowice, and Zakopane. He also goes beyond the cities to the High Tatra mountains, the Baltic seashore, Mazury Lakeland, and the Bialowieza primaeval forests in an exploration of how Poland evolved and survived throughout its long, rich history.
