This comprehensive workshop covers the key knowledge and techniques needed to create fine mosaic jewelry with a sparkle sure to catch the eye. Learn about topics including jewelry-base selection, adhesive choice, and suitable tesserae. You also gain experience in precision cutting, artistic laying techniques, and working on a small scale. The instructor provides tips and individual attention as you create silver-plated mosaic pendants using mosaic gold, smalti, semiprecious stones, stained glass, and millefiori.
A separate supply fee of $85 covers materials for you to construct three mosaic pendants (Note the price of the workshop includes the shipping cost of the supplies kit). Mosaic experience is helpful but not required; all skill levels and repeat students are welcome.
