Art warmups are designed to allow students to jump right into working without trepidation or overthinking. With the help of prompts, the warmups can be the starting point for a new artwork, or a chance to explore new materials and techniques with no wrong answers. Going beyond the color wheel, students engage with positive and negative space, sketching quickly, and mixed media techniques to build layers and texture. This course is designed for all levels of experience.
