Natural dyes are all around us: fields of wildflowers, tree- and flower-lined city streets; our own kitchen composts. Discover sources of natural in-season dyestuff in the Mid-Atlantic area, and how to extract dye from them. Students also learn how to effectively prepare fabric and dye samples with their foraged materials.
