Working from still-life arrangements reminiscent of Cézanne’s in studio sessions, learn to achieve the brilliant and subtle effects achievable with oil paints. The intensive workshop includes demonstrations and lectures on color theory, color mixing, optical mixing, and composition. For inspiration and creative ideas, works by Cezanne are viewed and discussed. Students work in oils and should have basic drawing skills. Special Program Information The instructor is Sandra Gobar.
