A simple store-bought card can brighten the holidays for its recipient. But the custom touches used to create a handmade card convey more meaning and are far more personal, conveying a thoughtfulness that will last long after the holidays are over.

Create simply elegant holiday greeting cards while learning the tips and techniques of professional card making from expert crafter Karen Cadogan. The focus is the sentiments, foreground, masking, and statement embellishments that together produce unique personalized cards for friends and family.

Beginners and experienced card makers are welcome. All card-making supplies are provided, and participants leave with a generous assortment of premium cardstock paper, stamps, ink and inkpads, collage papers, ribbon, and other embellishments to continue crafting at least 20 holiday cards. Students are welcome to bring in personal embellishments or to upcycle old holiday cards, if they choose.

All supplies are provided (a supply fee of $40 is included in the workshop fee).
