A handmade card will delight mom and is sure to impress all of the special people in your life this spring, from dads and grads to June brides.

Join an expert crafter in an afternoon of creating one-of-a-kind greeting cards while learning the tips and techniques of professional card making. Students produce a selection of springtime holiday cards, as well as those to express thank-yous, congratulations, or happy-birthday wishes.

The goal is to create simply elegant cards on a selection of backgrounds. The focus is the sentiments, foreground, masking, and statement embellishments that together produce unique personalized cards for friends and family.

Beginners and experienced card makers are welcome. All supplies are provided, including premium cardstock, embellishments, rubber stamps, ink pads, and coordinating markers to create 12 custom cards in class. Participants leave with a basic starter kit of card-making supplies to continue crafting at home any cards not finished during class time and with the skills to create artisan greeting cards for years to come.

Students are welcome to bring in personal embellishments or to upcycle old cards, if they choose. A supply fee of $25 is included in the tuition.
