When the dust finally settles on Westeros, when winter has come and gone, and when the little birds have no more secrets to tell, let us gather to commiserate and celebrate the final season of HBO’s hit series, “Game of Thrones.”

Raise a flagon of Ommegang Brewery’s GOT-themed beer as Washington Post critics Alyssa Rosenberg, Elahe Izadi, and Travis Andrews serve up a banquet of highlights and low points, fan theories and unanswered questions, realizations and frustrations. The post-Game of Thrones world is dark and full of terrors, so let’s face it together.

A warning to those caught north of the wall who miss the May 19 finale: Don’t be surprised by rampant spoilers arising from the flames.
