Note: Due to inclement weather, this class will now meet on Saturday, March 19 and Saturday, March 26, 2022 (originally March 12 and 19, 2022).

Spring is the time to set aside heavy woolen sweaters and embrace the lighter materials in your wardrobe. Create unique lightweight wearable art using the nuno felting technique, which combines wool blended with fine mulberry silk, then felted in minimalist designs on top of silk fabric.

After instruction in working with different design layouts, felting techniques, and Shibori and over-dyeing methods, produce two felted scarves using your own hand-colored and textured fibers.

A $30 supply fee, payable to the instructor at the first class, covers the cost of a silk and wool kit and all shared dyeing supplies.

Note: In-person programs are not recorded.
