Knitted dolls (Natural History Museum)

Explore knitted objects from the collection of the National Museum of Natural History. From Greenlandic double-thumbed mittens to Bolivia's colorful stranded work, to soft-as-cloud scarves made from Alaskan musk ox wool, there are beautiful and amazing hand-knit pieces around every corner. 

Learn about the techniques, traditions, and tales that make each item an exciting masterpiece.
