The nation’s capital is a perfect place to draw outdoors. It’s filled with countless subjects: magnificent monuments and memorials, exquisite architecture, numerous parks, and neighborhoods. Bring your sketchpad and explore the city’s sites with instructor Paul Glenshaw. Tackle atmospheric and linear perspective, landscapes, figures, and more, drawing with pencil, charcoal, oil pastel, and dry pastel. The sites—accessible to the Metro or public parking—may include the Smithsonian Castle, the Bartholdi Fountain, the C&O Canal in Georgetown, the Taft Bridge, Rock Creek Park, and one of the city’s iconic memorials  (Lincoln, Roosevelt, or King).

Note: In-person programs are not recorded.
