With a little investment, you can easily develop your own 35mm or 120mm black-and- white film at home. It’s cost-effective, and typically provides better results.
In this one-day workshop, participants are led through each stage of the chemical process to develop their negatives. As they dry, learn about film-developing theory in more detail, negative storage, film scanners, printing options, and more. Bring one roll of exposed black and white film to the class, along with one unexposed roll to practice loading film onto the developing reels.
Take home detailed, step-by-step developing instructions, along with a complete list of supplies to continue processing your own film. The session includes a lunch break (participants provide their own) from 1:15 to 2 p.m.
