Christine van Blokland getting ”curious” about historic Castle Howard in Yorkshire, England (Curious Traveler)

In London, you may know Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, and the London Eye. But do you know the secrets behind Temple Church, Londinium, and the prestigious Royal Warrants? London, of course, is just the beginning of Great Britain's many intriguing mysteries.

Join the host, writer, and executive producer of PBS’s “Curious Traveler,” Christine van Blokland, for a virtual exploration of some of the British Isles' most curious locations and secrets.

Van Blokland draws on clips and stories from various “Curious Traveler” destinations around Britain, exploring mysteries such as the connection between Vikings and the Yorkshire dialect; the location in England and Scotland that inspired the Harry Potter books and films; and the link between Downton Abbey, King Tut, and Wales’ Caernarfon Castle. Learn who hid what near the cliffs of the Seven Sisters in Sussex; where to find hidden symbols in Glasgow; underground tunnels in Edinburgh; and the curious connection between Stonehenge and Bath and Salisbury.

To make your journey even better, you’ll receive a British-themed gift courtesy of Visit Britain!
