Waiting for bulbs to bloom can be a long process. Skip the delay this winter and create delicate and cheerful paperwhites from crepe paper. The flowers are made from one color of the crepe paper in a variety of weights, and some blooms are joined together using wire. During the class, we discuss the different types and weights of crepe paper. Leave the class ready to complete 12 blooms with leaves to fill a small pot. The session is open to students of all skill levels, but some experience with crepe paper is recommended.
Most supplies are provided in a kit that will be mailed at least one week prior to the class to the address on file. A supply fee of $30 is included in the workshop price. If you need your supplies mailed to a different address, please email us at Associates-StudioArts@si.edu.
