Spend a fascinating evening expanding your knowledge of wine as you travel the world with sommelier Erik Segelbaum in a series of delectable wine-tasting adventures. The immersive program includes a curated personal tasting kit to enhance the experience.
Burgundy is one of the most complex and expansive wine regions on the planet. It is here that thousands of years of careful study of terroir have yielded an amazingly detailed and hyper complicated classification system of wines, vines, and vineyards. Amazingly, vineyards separated by only a few yards can command dramatically different prices, sometimes with a difference of thousands of dollars a bottle. But why? This deep dive explores the how, why, and what of Burgundy. Taste some exciting wines from appellations that producers see as the future of their region. The session will have you drinking and discussing Burgundy like a sommelier.
