Explore the dramatic forces that have shaped the Icelandic landscape over 30 million years with Tamie J. Jovanelly, an associate professor of geology at Berry College in Georgia. Jovanelly, who has been studying the geological complexities of the Icelandic landscape for more than a decade, offers a virtual tour that captures the island’s natural beauty and enhances it through detailed descriptions linking the relationships among structure, process, and time to the island’s geologic evolution.

Patron Information

  • If you register multiple individuals, you will be asked to supply individual names and email addresses so they can receive a Zoom link email. Please note that if there is a change in program schedule or a cancellation, we will notify you via email, and it will be your responsibility to notify other registrants in your group.
  • Unless otherwise noted, registration for streaming programs typically closes two hours prior to the start time on the date of the program.
