Are you a fan of the craft cocktails you enjoy at a restaurant or bar, but think these intriguing drinks are beyond the skills of an amateur mixologist? Katie Dandridge and Kevin Parisi, cocktail experts at Quill, the elegant lounge at Washington’s Jefferson Hotel, lead hands-on classes that can change your mind.
Join her for a lively session in which participants learn how to mix a trio of inventive cocktails on Quill’s spring list. Working in small groups, create and sample these drinks as you sharpen your skills in some of the basic techniques in cocktail-making, as well as learn some of Dandridge’s pro tips about shaking things up at home. Light refreshments are also on the afternoon’s menu.
